The event minimized waste by limiting printed materials, reusing branding, and using hand-painted signs and banners. Flex banners and other non-recyclable promotional materials were completely avoided, showing that large public events can be both impactful and environmentally responsible.

Replacing the conventional flex-printed entrance gates commonly used at public events, the start and finish arch was constructed primarily from locally sourced bamboo with minimal branding. The design significantly reduced material waste while showcasing a reusable and nature-inspired alternative for event infrastructure.

Finisher medals were manufactured from upcycled plastic collected through recycling initiatives. Designed in the form of functional coasters, the medals encourage participants to continue using them long after the event, promoting the principles of reuse and circular design.

More than 30 volunteers dedicated over 30 days to designing and building creative art installations using reclaimed and discarded materials. These installations transformed waste into engaging public art, encouraging conversations around resource recovery, creativity, and environmental stewardship.

The event featured a curated marketplace showcasing local enterprises and social businesses working in sustainability. Visitors had the opportunity to discover environmentally responsible products and services while supporting local entrepreneurs advancing Nepal's green economy.

Participants of all ages engaged in interactive games designed to promote waste segregation, recycling, and sustainable lifestyles. Creative challenges and quizzes, accompanied by eco-friendly prizes, made environmental learning engaging and accessible.

Clearly marked recycling stations were installed throughout the event venue to encourage responsible waste segregation. Beyond facilitating proper waste collection, the stations served as a practical demonstration of how simple infrastructure can reinforce positive environmental behaviours.

Food vendors showcased locally prepared delicacies served in sustainable, low-waste packaging instead of conventional disposable plastics. Participants were also offered mohi (traditional buttermilk) as a refreshing local beverage in place of packaged juices, celebrating local food culture while reducing packaging waste.
